I wanted a really good bread knife for my sourdough bread. This knife delivers! Fits good in your hands, cuts perfectly too. The only thing I would say is that the top of the blade had some jaged spurs on it that were sharp and could cut you! My husband took a file and filed them down to smooth it out. This is something that should be done at the factory before shipment - a quality control issue for sure. Other than that, it's the perfect bread knife for big sourdough breads with crusty exteriors. Love it!
