I love this small glass, great quality, deep baking dish. It’s so perfect so small families, or when you just need a smaller lasagna, or even cake! Very even baking, easy to wash up, which is a huge plus! Freeze safe ! Make ahead and freeze is always a great thing ! Convenient cover, to store, or take to get togethers .Some personal advice. I do not preheat the oven when frozen. I let the over and dish warm at the same time.60 yrs plus grandma loves this deep dish! Highly recommended! PERFECT LASAGNA SIZE (for the noodles)
I love my 7x11 pyrex. This is oven safe but it isn't the original type of hot/cold safe which goes by the name in all caps PYREX. This is soda lime glass as per the pyrex brand. All vintage pyrex does have that hot/cold tolerance due to the makeup. With that said, all newer pyrex should be used carefully from cold to hot or visa versa and you should be fine. Why I love this is that it is lasagna sized. This fits 3 uncooked lasagna noodles perfectly and in higher layers you can expand to 4. It's deep enough for a large lasagna and small enough for a 2 layer lasagna for few. My mom taught me that you never have to cook the noodles and it works perfectly as I tested it out last weekend, so now I had to have the right sized pan. It is huge to me because with 6 or 9 noodles you can whip up a quick lasagna like it's an easy dinner. I really prefer to have lids for my pyrex pieces so I think the overall value is spot on and the lasagna size should be the headline of this product. Happy cooking!!

Lids are a little hard to get on and off
I really love how deep these are as you can fit cupcakes and things like lasagna in here without worrying about the top mashing your food. My only criticism of these is that the lids are a real struggle to get on and off. They just fight back and feel like the rubber top is going to tear with time. Although none have torn yet and I've had these a couple months. Something to do with the design. I still like them but will only use them food that is filled up to the top of the pyrex. Otherwise I'm going back to my old Pyrex where I can pop the lid on and off with no problem.
