Muffin Cookies?

I know it wasn't intended to be used as a cookie sheet but those circles are perfect for nice sized cookies too! We tried it with a "just add water" muffin mix and they worked out great. I wouldn't even call them muffin tops, they were like muffin cookies really. Perhaps it was the batter which is why I wouldn't hold it against them. But, either way, turned out great. Kids loved it because its different and honestly, it helps with portion control. Eating a whole muffin versus just a muffin top.

First time using silicone trays

Since this is the first time using silicone trays I realize that it needs to be supported from underneath for stability. I wanted to use it to make chocolate covered Oreos but they are not deep enough and the opening is too wide. I did use it to make eggs with veggies and corn muffin tops which turned out well. This would be a great brunch item to serve for company and a nice presentation on a platter. Looking forward to making whoppie pies but disappointed about the Oreos. I washed mine by hand but can be placed in dishwasher.
