Well made nonstick pans

I bought these to make small loaves of sourdough bread using the 'steaming' method of placing one empty pan on top of another that holds the loaf. The pans are quite small--but larger than what's sold as 'mini' loaf pans. They're perfect for a loaf that two of us will eat in one day. For other sourdough bakers interested in the pan-on-pan steaming method: I used binder clips to hold the pans together for the first half of the bake. I found I needed to apply both clips (to the short ends of the pans) simultaneously, but once on, they stayed put until I removed them, then removed the top pan, using oven gloves. I did apply a small coating of avocado oil to the pans' interiors and used no parchment paper (lifted the cold-proofed loaves from banneton to pan with my hands.) Nothing stuck. The pans were a breeze to clean. I'm quite pleased with them. Highly recommend.

Not as big as expected!

These loaf pans are really great when it comes to quality, weight. I can't speak to rust resistance just yet. I would not consider these for making homemade white or wheat bread, but more dessert type breads , banana, zucchini, pear etc. as they are smaller than I expected the measurement comes from the top rim of this pan and not the bottom measurement and they have a tapered design.

Great for making ice blocks

Our family keeps a cooler on the porch for delivery/mail carriers. I bought these loaf pans to make ice blocks. They are better than I had hoped for. My other ice block makers were difficult to use. Some cracked or ripped and they were hard to get the ice out. I would have to run warm water over the bottoms to get the ice to release. I didnt like wasting water to do that. These pans are fantastic for making ice blocks. They are a good size, the lip around the edge keeps water from spilling as I refill them and the ice slides right out. Perfect 👌

Coating defect

The coating came off after 2nd use. It was bubbled and stuck to a banana bread loaf. The others in the set seem ok, maybe a quality control issue.

Not a large loaf pan

They’re ok pans but they’re not 10” bread pans… they have a lip all the way around and with the lip they’re 10x5 so if you’re looking for larger bread pans these aren’t it

Dent know

After unpackaging my mini loaf pans, I noticed that one of them was dented severely enough to take the non-stick coating off of it. After washing and drying them, I also noticed that rust was setting into the damaged area. This was the outside pan of the stack in the mailer soooooo, I have to believe it was damaged in shipping. Other than that I like the pans. They are a good size and look like they will be good to bake with.
