Terrific for grilling vegetables, too!
After a first use, I'm impressed: was able to grill sliced zucchini and Japanese eggplant, which both came out with a terrific taste, and bore attractive diagonal grill marks. (See attached photos.)Have mostly been using a pair of 9" and 11" skillets in this same Mercer line - Rachael Ray Cucina, Hard-Anodized Nonstick - and the following comments apply equally to those products, as well as to this grill pan. Pros: light in weight (although seemingly solidly built) and thus easy to handle; transmit heat very well (for sauteing, can leave oven setting at Medium or slightly above, rather than the Medium High used with other skillets); and an absolute breeze to clean up with soap and water, no matter what I've cooked: eggs, meat, pasta, sauces. Cons, so far minor: as noted by some other reviewers, all of these skillets/pans have smooth bottom surfaces, and slide a bit when stirring, if not held. Also, am seeing some minor scratching on the bottom surfaces of each, after even the first few uses on coil-type electric stove burners.

An excellent Grill Pan
I usually use my barbecue to grill but with colder weather coming on, I decided to try a grill pan for the stove (glass top) but I was skeptical that it would work. The reviews were pretty positive so I bought one. Used it to grill a strip steak. Result was terrific. So much better than my cast iron skillets. Medium heat (as recommended) cooked it perfectly medium rare and clean up was amazingly easy. Nothing stuck to the pan. Rachel Ray's products, and I now have a lot of them, are the best around I have found, durable, and easy to use and clean. Except for her terrible tongs, I highly recommend her products.

Love, love love. My new favorite pan
I just love this. The cook is nice. Just the right amount of grill lines. After the chicken cooked, I added veges and a sauce and it cooked well. Cleans nice. Great for everyday but in particular for the winter grilling. Get it. You wont be disappointing.

Lasted 2 yrs. Not too bad.
I got this in Dec 2018. The nonstick part started failing about a month ago so about 22 months. I use it primarily for cooking bacon and burgers. About twice a week. At first the cooking residue came right off with a sponge and Dawn but now I need to soak it for a good 45 min with hot water and Dawn in it, then I can scrub it clean. Too expensive to buy another right now so I guess it's time to use non stick spray to keep using it for a bit.Otherwise really a nice pan.

Excellent grill pan!
Nice grill pan. Once heated which is a good 5 minutes, the pan heat distributes evenly. Love the grill marks being on the diagonal. Can lay 2 NY strip steaks in there evenly and flip them for those desired grill marks. Wipes clean easily with paper towesls after use. I follow up with a hand wash with dish soap. I then reseason with Grapeseed oil for healthy cook next time around. Also attractive and love the stay cool handle. Even my 11 year old grandson grills bacon in this pan.
