Cute and durable - some flaws

Very cute, but very small capacity for how tall they are. The wood is thick, which I suppose is a point towards durability and quality, but it leaves the well for salt/pepper narrow. It’s not that annoying to fill it though, so I still like them! I will say the grounded salt will fall out onto the counter, as when you grind it, a decent amount will stick to the bottom. Again, it’s not that annoying though. For the price, they’re worth it to me.

These are very nice looking salt and pepper grinders...a set I would have loved to see sitting on my countertop or table daily. Oh, if only when I wanted a nice sprinkling of pepper and salt it had come out smoothly and looked appetizing sitting on my eggs!! But, no, it did not come out that way at all ... it came out in ugly chunks, not much smaller than the ones I put in to begin. Just a tad of the finer spice to taunt me. Well, I loved my Rae Dunn Salt and Pepper Grinders for the short hours before I tried putting them to use, but they are now boxed up ready to return.
