I really like this cheese slicer. it reminds me of one we had when i was growing up, only better. I like the all stainless steel construction and the fact that the slicer can be adjusted to different thicknesses. it does well on soft cheeses such as gouda or cheddar. I also like the fact that it is dishwasher safe.
Very good is good work
The cheese cutter body is nice and is heavy duty, but NONE the wires that came with it are even long enough to properly install and I tried everything! The ends need to be straight to go into the opening and there was just no stretching it to get both sides in the openings. The wire can only be installed from the backside as the screws go on top. Plus, one of the four wires wasn't put together on one end and was in pieces in the bag with the others with no way to repair it.
I've purchased several cheese cutting devices and none were as well made and efficient as this slicer .
Nice weight, easy clean, the adjustable bar doesn't stay very tight and tends to move mid slice after a couple uses. Overall great.
Works ok. Broke the spring the first time I used it. Thankfully it comes with replacements.
