Perfect for Ramen noodles!
This set is perfect for cooking ramen noodles! But it’s also perfect for cooking any kind of pasta quickly. It’s perfect for college students. Absolute value for money. Easy to use, not just for pasta but for any one-pot meal, like soup. Even includes cutlery and chopsticks. Pot, strainer and bowl nest together for compact storage.

Great for simple cooking
Exactly as pictured and good quality as well. I got this so my son could make more items for lunches and be able to clean up easily. It’s been a great purchase since. It’s easy to use, easy to clean, the size is perfect for simple meals, and it’s versatile for making a variety of things from ramen, soup and even steaming dumplings.

Good for kids!
A bit small, but the kiddo loves it! The chopsticks are a little short, but good for beginners!

Great design, but a larger capacity would be even better
There are a lot of microwave ramen bowls of a similar design to this one, often sold in bulk packs of multiple ramen bowls; however, I only needed one such bowl, and this was at a great price. This particular bowl is plastic (similar bowls of other brands may be made from either plastic or wheat straw). The bowl proper is comprised of 3 pieces: a 500ml/32 oz. bottom bowl, a strainer bowl (like a small version of the colanders in your kitchen), and a 250ml/16 oz. lid/top bowl. One puts the ramen & any toppings in the strainer bowl while it sits in the bottom bowl, pours the water over the ramen, places the top bowl upside-down on top as a lid, and then nukes all of this in the microwave. I tried this with a brick of a "healthy" ramen, together with 2 tablespoons of dehydrated soup veggies, and added 2 cups water before microwaving. The handle on the bottom bowl was plenty sturdy enough to remain stable while carrying the filled bowl across the kitchen to the microwave, and I was pleasantly surprised that the top bowl did not shift in that trip across the kitchen, despite not being secured to the lower parts of the bowl in any way.I followed the cooking directions on my ramen package, which seemed to work just fine with my bowl. Draining the cooked ramen was a breeze, leaving all of the broth in the bottom bowl. However, I was dismayed at the small size of the top bowl. One would think that a 250ml/16 oz. bowl would be adequate for a single serving of ramen; however, the amount of ramen in my package (labeled as a single serving) made about the same quantity of cooked noodles as most other brands' 2-serving ramen bricks, and this set's top bowl was barely able to hold all of those noodles. I was still able to add a little of the broth, so I wasn't quite eating brothless noodles, but I certainly wouldn't have had room for a ramen "soup" in that top bowl.Should you need utensils to use while eating ramen, this set does include both a pair of plastic chopsticks (something I never use) and a pair of plastic camping-style silverware (a fork and a spoon/knife); either of these can snap into notches on the lid/top bowl. The handle on the bottom bowl is long enough to double as a phone stand (a feature I haven't yet tried, but which might be nice if I wanted to do something on my phone while eating).I like how easy the strainer is to use, but wish I could have the broth drain into the smaller top bowl, as I can easily imagine occasions on which I would want to eat both a hearty serving of noodles AND a generous helping of toppings, both of which just will not fit into that small top bowl. Ramen lovers with more modest appetites (including grade-school children), however, should find this adequate for their needs. Recommended with reservations, depending on one's appetite for ramen.
