Best knife sharpener ever invented!
So I spend good money to buy a brand new sharp knife set. Two weeks later that new knife set is dull as toast! I ordered this sharpener and received it last week...WOW! It is the greatest and easiest knife and scissors sharpener ever invented!!! So easy and safe to use, so quick to sharpen your knives and "WOW' that scissors option is perfect...I've never had a scissors sharpener before...Love this! Thanks so much for this great product! Great for a quick blade sharpening.
This sharpener works great for both minor blade damage and for a final fine edge sharpening. I have not tried the scissor option yet. One piece of advice is when you pull the blade through the tool make sure the toll stays flat on a hard level surface. If it “Rocks” of the flat surface it won’t sharpen the blade as well. It has a nice grip pad on the bottom of it that helps it stay flat as long as you put some pressure down on it. Has multiple angles for different edges.

It works well! But I'm left handed. Regardless of what it says. Left handed is not the way to sharpen a knife. You can't just turn it around if you want a sharp knife. Enough room at the bottom to hold. I may add something to the non handle end to hold. Just pull knife through slowly. Could put handle on both ends but they won't. Left handed people are a small part of the buyers.

Solid Household Knife Sharpener
So I learned to sharpen knives a few different ways over the years. Sharpening stones and honing oil are amazing if you have the time and the patience to learn to hold knife at the right angle, and learn the right pressure, and know when to switch to the next stone. We will not even get into grinders and polishers.But what if you are a normal household where you want to dependably sharpen your kitchen knives and or pocket knives to a nice useful edge? I have owned three or four similar style countertop sharpeners like this, and this is the first one I would recommend to others. I like the adjustable angles to create or repair your blade edge and finish it to a smooth and very sharp finish correct for your knife. Will it make it truly "razor sharp"? In most cases probably not, but if you spend a bit of time with the sharpener and learn how to use it, you can get it pretty close. I will say that it noticeably improved the quality and the cut of all of my kitchen knives and two of field knives with little to no actual effort. Will I be able to shave with any of them, no. But why would i want to?If you are looking for a simple to use sharpener to help you get most out of your household knives, this will probably suit your needs. If you are looking for something to make you a professional knife sharpener for a new career, you probably should look elsewhere.

It would be a good sharpener for $15
