My wife thinks this is the coolest thing ever. However, I'm not so sure. While it certainly is thin, it has two drawbacks that I need to point out.First, the fact that it needs to have its own non-skid mat is a bit of a downside. It seems to me that it should have some sort of a rubber surface on the back that's adhesively mounted. I don't really like carrying around that little non-slip rug all the time.Second, being what it is, it's very susceptible to fingerprints and smudges. So even if you just rinse it off with water after you're done with it.... You still have all of these unsightly smudges on it from your fingers. You either have to put it into the dishwasher or clean it with some stainless steel cleaner. So that's the downside. The upside is because it's so thin. It's very easy to store. And I didn't notice it getting scratched up badly from my knives. Apparently the surface is harder than most kitchen knives and so it doesn't really get all that scratched up. That's a good thing because my other cutting board looks like it's been a cat scratching post. The other thing I like about it is that because it does not develop cuts after use, there's no place for bacteria to hide. So in theory it's more sanitary.I may update this after we've used it a while. If anything changes I'll let you know.
I picked this cutting board up as a potential long-term replacement for both plastic and wood boards. Plastic boards raise microplastic concerns, and wood boards—while classic—come with their own food safety and maintenance tradeoffs. A titanium board seemed like a promising alternative, assuming it was actually titanium and not just something marketed that way.Out of the box, the board was flawless. No marks, no defects, and a very clean, brushed finish. It comes with a non-slip mat, which helps keep it planted on the counter. The board itself feels solid, substantial, and well finished. After the first real use—cutting raw chicken with a straight-edged (non-serrated) knife—we noticed visible scratches in the surface. These weren’t just cosmetic scuffs; some were deep enough to catch a fingernail. That immediately raised questions. Is this normal? Is this actually titanium? So I checked.A strong neodymium magnet does not stick to the board. I then measured the board’s dimensions, thickness, and mass and calculated its density, accounting for the rounded corners and handle cutout. The result came out to approximately 4.3 g/cm³, which is very close to commercially pure titanium (≈4.5 g/cm³) and far away from aluminum or steel. Within normal measurement error, this lines up exactly where it should. That explains the scratching, too. Titanium is corrosion-resistant and tough, but it is not especially hard compared to hardened steel. Steel knives will mark it. That’s not a defect—it’s just material reality. This board isn’t a “never scratch” surface, and it shouldn’t be marketed as one. What it is, is a non-porous, food-safe surface that won’t absorb odors, won’t grow bacteria internally, and won’t shed plastic into your food. The scratches don’t affect function, and there’s nothing flaking or coming off the surface. Over time, this board will develop a working patina, much like a stainless prep table or a well-used pan. If you expect it to stay pristine, you’ll be disappointed. If you want something hygienic, easy to clean, and chemically inert, it makes a lot of sense. This isn’t a replacement for every cutting board in the kitchen. I wouldn’t use it for aggressive chopping or tasks where blade preservation is critical. But for raw meat prep, quick slicing, or situations where sanitation matters most, it fills a very specific niche.Bottom Line:✅ Appears to be genuine titanium based on density and magnetic testing✅ Non-porous, easy to sanitize, and food-safe✅ Solid, well-finished, and includes a non-slip mat✘ Will scratch from normal steel knives✘ Not a “forever pristine” surfaceThis isn’t a miracle cutting board — it’s a purpose-built one. If you understand titanium’s properties and want a hygienic alternative to plastic or wood, this does exactly what it should.
I never thought I would get excited about a cutting board, but this one genuinely impressed me. This is our second Beviss titanium board, and it quickly replaced our old plastic ones for everyday kitchen prep.I use it daily for slicing vegetables, fruits, and trimming meat. The surface is smooth and doesn’t hold odors or stains, which is something I always struggled with on wood or plastic boards. It’s noticeably lighter than I expected for a metal board and easy to rinse clean under hot water. I also appreciate that it’s non-porous and BPA-free, so there are no worries about bacteria or microplastics ending up in our food. The compact 15” x 11” size fits easily in a drawer or stands upright next to other pans without taking up counter space. The only drawback is that the surface can feel a bit slick when chopping small, round items like cherry tomatoes. Using a light grip and deliberate cuts solves that easily. You’ll also want to avoid heavy chopping with large knives since titanium can be noisy on the counter.Overall, this is an outstanding option for anyone looking for a hygienic, low-maintenance board that will likely last for years. I would definitely recommend it over plastic or bamboo alternatives.I received this item through the Amazon Vine program, and this review reflects my honest opinion.
The reason I order this cutting board was because said scrach free. That is not true.
This is a nice cutting board. It's very lightweight and easy to handle. The surface is smooth, non-porous, which I like and seems to be better than a plastic or wood board. It's very easy to clean which I like. It came with a non-slip mat to place under the board, which helps keep it from moving around on the counter. The size is ok and the length works well for everyday use without taking up too much space. It’s very thin and easy to store. One small thing I noticed is that the handle area had a slightly rough section when grabbing the board from the back or bottom. It’s not a deal breaker, but something worth mentioning. Overall, this feels well made and low maintenance, and it’s a good alternative to traditional cutting boards, especially if food safety and easy cleanup are priorities.
