Nice counter piece

This knIfe holder is a nice, solid piece. It kind of gives me a 70's-ish feel. Maybe it's just me.The magnet is strong holds the knives really well. Don't even try to pull sideways, it'll fall right over. You have to slide the knives up. With what you see in my pic, it does become slightly side heavy but it's hardly noticeable. It's not like it wants to tip over or anything. Although, if you're putting a knife on it, when the knife gets close, it will pull itself toward the knife. It will hold every knife in my drawer plus some.What I will stress is this would not be safe with kids around.I just think it's a neat piece. It's built well, holds well, and doesn't tip over. I like it.
