Just used these and so far I’m impressed. I can’t comment on long term durability yet, but I like that they are easy to wipe off. They’re nice and long to cover most of my forearms. They are heat resistant. They are nice and flexible, not stiff like other gloves of this type.
They are big but I expected that because I bought them for a teen but they are working good and shielding from the heat as promised.
These gloves are very good and long enough to protect your arms from getting burned on oven door or sides when baking.
Great for using a griddle, pizza oven and BBQ. Protects my hands and I don’t feel the heat.
I wanted to love these gloves. The aqua color is nice, as is the pattern, and they were fairly comfortable. What ruined it for me is the lining. I bought these specifically looking for a 100% cotton lining and the description deceptively made it sound like that's what I'd be getting. Unfortunately, what arrived were gloves that had a 100% polyester label on them. No cotton in sight. The poly terry lining felt very cheap, the kind that snagged on every little bit of raised skin on my hands. It definitely felt uncomfortable. I could also tell it would pill very easily. I had to return them. I found many other options that had an all cotton liner. I tried several and the best were the MASTER QUEEN Silicone Oven Mitts. The gloves were more flexible than these and the liner was smooth, quilted cotton that felt great against my skin. Best of all, they were more than half the price less.
Love these! I have a habit of smacking my forearm on the top rack of the oven, or brushing up against a hot cookie sheet, but don’t have to worry about that with these! I got the “vanilla” color which is really a bright yellow, mainly because it was cheapest for some reason. Love the bright color way more than I thought I would. Easily spotted if I set them down somewhere. The only ones I use now.
We needed mitts that would handle the amount of heat my oven puts out, and that limited us. We wanted to exceed that just to be safe. We also wanted something a bit larger to accomodate reaching in and removing things from the oven so we wanted wrist protection too. Extra bonus that these happen to be rubber (on both sides) which allows for easy cleaning if something drips on them, also prevents boiling water absorbing into the mit. Also they could be worn on either hand which some of the other products limit you which is not the case here. So overall these are an amazing addition to the kitchen and we are super happy with them!
