Easy to use

Cuts uniform fries with ease. You will need to trim the potato down a little and then cut the potato in half, this makes it is easier to push through the slots. Clean up is simple, comes with a brush to get junk out of blade. Stays put on the counter with suction feet. Definitely a Hugh time saver. I researched these trying to find one at a reasonable price and still do a good job, this was a great buy for the price and quality.

Solid build, great usability. Just make sure everything is tight.

I took a gamble on this and it seems to have paid off. Generally pleased with the product overall.Pros:*Construction is simple. Easy to disassemble and reassemble if necessary.*Plastic parts are robust. Not cheap plastic that a 5 year old can break.*Easy to clean. Only 2 steps. Unscrew and remove blade cartridge. Remove press guard that fits into the cartridge.*Long handle reduces effort needed though I'm too afraid to attempt with sweet potatoes. I have a habit of breaking things.Cons:*A lot of screws were loose for some reason.*Suction cup initially wasn't great but after tightening the cup it greatly improved.

Excellent product!Works perfectly and allows you to make consistently good fries.I discovered a recipe for “5 Guys” type of fries that are awesome!These are so good that people come over to our house and ask for them!Try it. There are only a few secrets to excellent fries, and here they are:You will need:2 russet potatoes1 Tablespoon salt½ teaspoon garlic powderPeanut oil in deep fryerScrub the potatoes in water.Cut about ½ inch off each end.Slice them with your slicer (small size).Soak in water for 1 minute.Drain.Soak in water again, for 3 minutes.Drain.Soak in water plus 1 teaspoon of sugar.Let this soak for at least 30 minutes, up to 3 hours. 2-3 hours is slightly better.Mix 1 Tablespoon salt with ½ level teaspoon of garlic powder. Put in an old salt shaker if possible.Drain and dry the fries. Use a dish towel. This is important.Preheat peanut oil to 300F.Fry half of the batch for 2-3 minutes.Drain.Fry the other half the same way.Preheat the oil to 400F.Fry first batch for 4-6 minutes.Drain and sprinkle with salt mixture.Repeat on second batch.Take it easy on the salt mixture until you taste them. It’s easy to get too much.You won’t believe how close the taste is to the real thing…

Pros: 2 Easy To Change Sharp Blades, Long Handle To Assist With Operation, Fairly Decent Quality Of Construction, Much Faster Than Cutting Vegies By Hand, Good Price.Cons: Suction Cup Arrived Flat And Is Worthless, Have To Hold Down With 1 Hand While Operating, No Provision To Permanently Mount, Even With Long Handle Large Potatoes Require Considerable Force, Will Not Cut Sweet Potatoes Per Instructions.Overall I would buy it again but it does have limitations as noted above.

Very Poor Quality

To operate this potato cutter, you need to place one hand under the machine, so the back legs do not move while the other is on the handle, forcing the potato through. Don’t put too much force on the arm as the front legs will then move. This does not work very well. The suction cups they provide are worthless. It took me 20 minutes to slice seven potatoes. Then after it was done, I could not get the blade removed. Poor quality, poor durability, you get what you pay for.
