Incredibly easy to set up with all the reasonably large buttons on the front. No bluetooth or wifi pairing. No app. Well made with both magnets and a kickstand. Easily read especially with USB connection. Accurate. A fairly loud alarm that can be heard through a few finished basement rooms. Used with two Peltier coolers. Important to know if the fan malfunctions or the power is off beyond the power supply battery backup they are attached to since one of the two will not start up automatically when the power is restored. A really good value since one works for two coolers.

Good thermometer for small kitchen
This thermometer works well and gives accurate readings for both the refrigerator and freezer. I have had it for about 3 weeks and have had no issues with signals battery life or anything else.A few things I would like to point out and things you may want to consider before buying. The directions can be a bit confusing. The user manual doesn't mention this is specifically for the refrigerator except for I one small paragraph I have highlighted pink in the 6th picture. Even then it just states that it "that this product is widely used in low-temperature environments such as refrigerators". I mention this because in several other places where I have highlight in yellow in picture 5 and 6 it mentions things that are inconsistent with using this product in the refrigerator. It makes it feel like this manual was repurposed and they just put in a little paragraph about refrigerators and sent it out. Also I would like to point out that The maximum range of the sensor can reach 328ft (100m) in an open area. Which in most kitchens may be fine but since you cannot place the base unit near a microwave it might be a challenge in other kitchens to find a place to put this.Overall I do think this is a good product it worked surprisingly well and we had no issues with the sensors. It's a great value for your money especially if you are trying to just figure out what is happening in your refrigerator.

Great product to keep an eye on temps in fridge(s) and freezer(s) with alarm
I store medication in the fridge that needs to be kept cold. After having a refrigerator die on me and the loss of medication and food, I was looking for an easy and inexpensive solution to sound an alarm if the two fridges we have begin to malfunction. This little device and the 2 wireless sensors work perfect in a large home with one fridge in the kitchen and another 50 feet away with lots of walls separating the two. The digital readout registers the temperature of both fridges and I have set alarms to let me know if either of them gets above or below the user selectable range of temperature for each individual fridge. If you store very expensive meds or have lots of things in your freezer or fridge that you would like to know about getting too warm or too cold, this device is perfect. The alarm is quite loud and the digital readout has a backlight that can be turned off completely. It takes 3 triple A batteries for the digital readout which can also be plugged in via usb connection with an AC adapter - supplied. The two sensor units that get placed in the fridge or freezer each take 2 AA batteries.

Impressive Performance Monitoring Two Fridges
I’m really impressed with this thermometer. Although the user manual doesn’t mention refrigerator use, I relied on the information posted on Amazon. The accuracy and the easy setup are what stand out the most. I’m currently monitoring two refrigerators that are about 40 feet apart, and the signal has been flawless. Great way to monitor your freezer temperatures
So far so good. I bought this one for me and one for my mom.So after my mom had gone through 2 freezers and now on a third we needed a way to monitor the temperature without having to open the door. Where these come in. After all previous freezers stating high temp and the only way to gauge the temperature was from a really old analog thermometer I found these. Now I got mine first put batteries in the gauges a the reader and threw on in my stand up freezer and the other in the fridge freezer. I then watched that bad boy go into monitor mode and eventually made it down to the temp I was pretty sure it was and didn’t have to open the freezer while monitoringNow I got to my moms house she had batteries for the reader not the gauges so when I put the batteries in the gauge it didn’t want to connect so took batteries out of everything and then back in. Now I did the exact same thing with her gauges as far as some where that we didn’t need to worry about them till it was time to replace the batteries again. Now I watched those little gauges work their magic and put the reader on top of the freezer since they wanted to be able to easily see it and the reader slide on the door. Well I looked at the analog gauge in the freezer and it definitely wasn’t working anymore and also found the issue with when it stated high temp after opening the door(freezer). Fixed it and zero issues so far since.It is simple to use. Easy to read the reader and great buy.The magnet is not too incredibly powerful for the door but mine sits happily on the side while the parents sits on the top of their freezer (short enough for that) with the stand. Same time bought same model just different areas for the reader. Would I recommend this yes especially for those who want the right now satisfaction and don’t want their reading tied to a phone or having to open the door to read the temperature (definitely counterintuitive to the process.So works great especially for the older crowd and middle aged folks who are not looking to download another app
