I can remove pans from my air-fryer oven, and glass or porcelain bowls from my microwave. No burns.

My oven mitts are always getting dirty from the dirty pans they touch. They are in the laundry more often than they are in my kitchen. So I got this handle. It looks easier to clean.USE FOR THE OVEN:. I use this pot handle to remove the hot pan from the air-fryer oven. I can stick the tip of the handle in 2 inches and grab the pan. My hand does not have to go inside the oven. My hand doesn't have to risk getting burned.. My oven pan has a lip all around the edge. This pot handle is designed to securely pick up and lock onto pots and pans that have a lip.. I measured the tool. The tool can lock onto a lip that is up to 0.4 inches wide.USE FOR THE MICROWAVE:, Another place I use this is to remove a hot bowl full of food from the microwave. The food can make the bowl scalding hot. Also, there are some dishes that absorb heat from the microwaves. There's no safe place to touch those.. If the bowl is small, I use the wood-look pot handle to remove it. I do not lock it closed, because the stress could break a thin fragile bowl. I just squeeze it securely, without locking.. I use the silicone finger mitts for large 2 quart bowls. Two hands are needed to steady soup in a large 2 quart bowl.. This one order gave me 2 options for handling my hot bowls. I don't have to worry about accidental burns now.WOOD COLOR: The wood finish looks realistic. I believe the dyes are embedded in the plastic. Wow! This is what you need and didn't know it. I don't have cookware with removeable handles but do have some that are heavy and i could use a helper handle.This handle looks very nice and expensive. Its heavy weight and not flimsy. It clips and unclips very easily, even with my arthritic thumbs. It tightly clips onto pots and pans and is very sturdy without slipping. My heaviest pot is an enameled cast iron 6qt dutch oven. It's 12lbs with lid and empty. This handle had no problem with that amount of weight. I also used it on a 2qt cart iron pot that has a small helper handle. This is better because i can use this longer handle with oven mitts on.This is the kitchen tool I'm so glad to have on hand. It's high quality and looks so nice. Just buy it! You'll be happy you did.

Good extra handle to have

This handle came in handy as I have the pots and pans set that share one handle, so to have this extra on hand, is a game changer. I’m very happy with it and have had no issues. Use for broken handle or pots with metal handle that can get hot.

Comes with silicone mitten and detachable handle. Handle is light and has silicone like finish to it, which gives good grip even if your hands are wet. Once placed on the pot, squeeze the handle until you hear the click. We tried it on different width pots and it worked on all of them, see video. Release button is on the top of the handle and does not require too much effort to press down. It's really easy to use. Depending on the pot and how long the cooking takes, handles on the pot can get warm or hot especially if it's also made of metal. This definitely comes in handy for sure. Good product and very useful.
