I’ve had this product for a couple months now and it is perfect for making single serving smoothies and milkshakes. I was previously using a blender, which was very difficult to clean this product cleans up nice or can be placed in a dishwasher.
The Update Extractor Blades with 24oz/32oz cup is an innovative solution to the Ninja Mega Kitchen's biggest drawback. I bought the Mega Kitchen for it's powerful 1500 watt motor and it's versatility as a full size 72oz blender, personal blender, and food processor. Overall, this was a smart investment that took the place of three aging and less capable Ninja appliances...all with separate motors. However, my old personal blender had a 32oz cup and the Mega Kitchen only comes with a 16oz cup and doesn't support larger cups. I now feel like my Mega Kitchen is complete thanks to the Update Extractor Blades adding support for 24oz and 32oz cups.Update: 4 Years Later, the extractor blade attachment has started showing its age. It still works great but my wife noticed that the blender motor appeared to be working a little harder than before. I checked the extractor blade and it has become more difficult to spin. I attribute the motor working extra hard to having to work harder to spin the extractor blade. I bought a new set and now the blender works without any effort. Of course I wish the original extractor blade would have lasted forever, but I think 4 years of daily use is still amazing and I hope the new one lasts at least as long.
It was exactly what I wanted to make smoothies with out having to dirty up the lager blender and it did it reasonably well but today a burning g smell showed up when Making a smoothie. The bearing went out and melted the base so it's now useless.
They fit great on my blender. I love that but no matter how much or how less I fill them they always leak. I make sure that the covers on very tight but it's still leaking so as much as I like them it's not worth the cleanup after the use 😔
The stock cups that came with the blender were just too small for smoothies, although these are perfect. The adapter can be a little wonky, but worth the hassle for the larger cup.
I was so happy to find these large size cups for my Ninja Mega Kitchen System. I've made about 25 smoothies so far and most of them have blended well. Several times I did experience a situation where the ingredients didn't mix well and the machine began to strain and gave off a slight burning smell at which point I immediately turned it off. I've learned to be careful to put the ingredients in the cup in a way where the liquids meet the blades first and gradually pulls the solid ingredients into the mix. Overall, I'm glad to have the larger cups and I do recommend this product with a word of caution.
This was a great find for my older model Ninja the larger cups are great and can actually get all ingredients in them and blended well. Live it. Thank u
