Absolutely loveeeethis whisk so far, thinking about getting a second one as backup! It gives the same microfoam that a traditional whisk does but in a fraction of the time. Super easy to clean and the color is a beautiful baby pink!The only con is that the handle and the bottom piece come apart a bit easy, idk if that’s normal or not. Hopefully it lasts overtime tho and isn’t just loose.
I just received my chasen this morning and used it to make my morning matcha latte. I originally purchased this because I am not a patient person and do not always like waiting for my bamboo chasen to bloom. Especially on the days I am up early in the morning getting ready for work or both of my toddlers are in the kitchen with me. My first impression of this product is overall good, it easily gets the job done with less effort to clean and obviously no wait time when prepping. I enjoy its sizing, very similar to my traditional chasen and love that I can choose different colors. There is somewhat of a learning curve when using because I did notice that the bubbles were slightly larger than the microfoam my traditional chasen creates, but that’s not a big deal, my latte tasted just the same. My one wish is that the bristles (?) were a little more flexible as it feels quite stiff, compared to my traditional chasen but I’m hoping with more use it will become a little bit more pliable. But overall, this is a great alternative for somebody like me who is limited on time/patience, but still enjoys making matcha.
Good for whisking matcha! Obviously bamboo chasens will give you a more frothy texture, but I think this tool is perfect for a casual daily matcha drinker like myself. I like that the whisk handle detaches from the tines, I feel like it makes washing the whisk easier. The price was the main factor in buying this, especially since bamboo chasens wear out and can mold over time. I don’t sift my matcha powder because this whisk gets rid of the clumps with no issue, so overall I recommend!

So much better than the bamboo ones. The bamboo whisks sold on here are often cheaply made I believe but this one is much better! The bamboo whisks peel and often leave tiny pieces of bamboo in your matcha making you have to re-strain it again but this whisk eliminates the second step. I was worried if it was get as frothy but this one is even better in my opinion! It also depends on what kind of oat milk you use. Cheap/poor quality oat milk and cheap matcha won’t froth properly. It’s easy to clean, works well, it’s relatively small. 5 stars I love my new pink whisk!
