Great Quality
If this didn't have a year printed on it, I could get several of them for other retiree friends. My husband doesn't retire for 4 more years, but this fit him too much to pass it up. So, as is, it has limited gift value.That said, I love everything else about this glass. It's a good high quality thick glass with great weight for a whiskey glass. The design is absolutely too funny. It promises to give spirit aided chuckles for years to come. But having to explain the year discrepancy will become tedious. The print quality seems like it will last for many years.This is one of the larger of the whiskey glasses in our collection. This allows for using large ice blocks for whiskey on the rocks or a tasty mixed drink. It comes well packaged, so it's more likely than not to arrive undamaged.

I ordered this glass as a gift for my boyfriend, who will be retiring from the Navy this summer. I was pleasantly surprised by how it was packaged. It comes in a plain white box and is wrapped in bubble wrap, ensuring it stays protected during shipping. When i opened it, it looks just as advertised.It looks and feels like a quality item. It does not look like the design would peel off/wash away easily. The glass itself has a nice weight. It's wider than a usual glass, and a whole soda can fits inside it. I guess it's a good thing, so you can use those huge square or round ice cubes without watering down your drink.At the time I ordered it, it was $14.89, which I think is a good value for a glass of this size and quality. I would definitely recommend this for the person in your life who'll be retiring this year.

Though, in the product ad, this is marketed as an "11oz whisky glass", it can be used for almost any drink, with the key features being that it has a cute retirement saying on the front, along with the year (2026) of the person's retirement, seems sturdy, is attractive, and feels very nice in your hand. The weight of this glass is perfect...heavy enough that you feel like you're holding something substantial and durable, but not too heavy. The base is also thick, stable, and flat...sitting nicely on any surface. Though the glass is not etched with the sentiment, "Every sip tastes like it's not my problem anymore. Retired 2026", the crisp black lettering and retirement/relaxation images (seen in the ad's pics and in what I provided with this review), look durable and I would expect to last for an extended time period--especially with gentle handwashing, which the company recommends.This lead-free, crystal-clear, 11oz glass is approximately 3.6" high and 3" wide at the base (with it being just a tad wider at the mouth). For the $14.99, currently listed price, I think this would be a quality, good-value purchase for oneself, or as a retirement gift for a friend, relative, boss, or co-worker where the person will appreciate the funny inscription, enjoy using it, and likely fondly remember you with each use in the years to come.Though this item came along with some others I'd ordered and was packed in Amazon's typical good, protective outer packaging, the glass itself came with an outer cardboard box and was bubble wrapped inside to further protect it in transit. I always appreciate those extra touches.
