Smudged but otherwise great glass
This is a nice, high quality thick pint glass that you can get ice cold in the freezer and then have a beer or other beverage. It's a good pint size and would make an excellent gift.However, the one I got came flawed. There's some printing ink that smudged the back of this glass, and that makes me hesitant to give it as a gift. It won't wipe off, but it doesn't necessarily ruin the glass. It's still useable. It just maybe makes it less of a great value.

Though the product ad markets this as a 16oz beer glass, it could obviously be used for other cold beverages. The key here is the funny message--"Every sip tastes like it's not my problem anymore. Happy Retirement 2026." and retirement/vacation images (all in black) that are on the front. The lead-free, crytal clear glass feels good in the hand and is about 2.3" across at the base, 5.8" tall, and 3.5" across the mouth. Though the message and images are not engraved, they seem durable enough, especially if one always gently handwashes after use, as the ad recommends.With this gift, one can hear Lumberg's voice saying, "Errrr, alright then, I'll go ahead and get you another memo on that.", growing fainter and fainter with each sip. Whether purchased as a personal treat or for a friend, family member, boss, or co-worker, this is a funny, useful retirement gift that will be appreciated and likely have the recipient thinking of you each time they use it in the years ahead. For the currently-listed price of $13.99, I think this is a good value.I ordered this item along with some others that all came packaged together in a larger box, with Amazon's typical good, protective packaging, but the glass itself also came in its own box (seen in my pic) within which it was additionally protected with bubble wrap. Perfect Beer Glass for beach days while others work!
Very nice gift for my brother, who just retired the end of this year (a few days ago), and I filled this glass to the top with his favorite adult beverage and watched him drink it up in absolute joy. Anyway, he loved the glass, and it IS very nice. My bro lives in Florida, so the picture on the glass makes perfect sense for him, since he actually lives a mile from the beach and his house is on a lake, so yes, he will be taking this actual glass filled with an adult beverage with him to one of those bodies of water frequently, he says. It is made of thick glass, thankfully, as you might be able to tell from my attached photos (another reason I ordered it), so it should last a good long time. The printing appears durable also, so hopefully this will last a good many years into his lazy, well-deserved retirement. Highly recommend this retirement beer glass.
