I got into sourdough making recently. My best friend was using throw away plastic bowl covers and I wanted a different option when I found these. They are beautiful, durable, and perfect for covering bowls and jars of varying sizes. They fit securely and are easy to use. I have only had these for a few weeks. I loved the patterns & the sizes that I purchased. They have a good feel. I've wiped them off & air-dried them a few times now; it's easy and unproblematic. If they last a long time I will be entirely satisfied with them. I would definitely buy them again.
These are so cute and handy! I will definitely purchase another set! They fit a variety of shapes and sizes for great functionality and easily wipe clean. A very economical and sustainable option!
I ordered these to use while my sourdough is rising, they work better than I expected. I not only use them for my bread but all other things. They clean up easy and are amazing!
The largest one is perfect for covering my sourdough bowl during the bulk fermentation process. The beeswax keeps the dough from sticking too much and it’s easy to rinse off. The smallest size works well for something the size of a ramekin. I use the 2 largest ones most of the time and the other sizes are rarely used. I haven’t used them for anything liquid or loose yet so I can’t speak to whether or not they are spill-proof. From what I can tell they would not fair well if the contents weren’t solid.
These are really great and I give them five stars. The elastic is good and they are perfect for most sizes of bowls. I've only had them for a few days so I will update after I've had them for a little while and see how they hold up.
As a busy woman I’m always looking for things that can help make life easier. These beeswax bowl covers are fabulous! So easy to just pop one out and boom you’re done. No messing with clingy wrap or fiddling around and these are so easy to reuse.
