This is a great set for home bread baking!!

This whole set is great! The bread bowl cover works perfectly for proofing and it has a lot of elastic, so it fits all kinds of sizes of bowls - I tried it on smaller and bigger bowls and it does the job. It fits great on my proofing bowl and worked as the cover while my dough proofed. It has a waxyish layer on the outside of it.Similarly, the bags are terrific too. We put a load of homemade soda bread in one of the bags - soda bread gets hard really fast, but two days later, our soda bread is still soft like it just came out of the oven. So the bags definitely work to keep food fresh! The bags are also really big, as we could’ve loaded it up with multiple loaves, so the big, round sourdough will definitely fit too. The bags have a zipper, and then the bags are designed so that you can roll like a dry bag so you don’t have a giant bag for one little loaf. And the bags and cover are easy to clean - there are directions to clean but I just dumped the crumbs and wiped it out, but if it was bad, you can wash it out (I’d probably just turn it inside out). The inside is waxed really well and the zipper zips smoothly and closes fully, and then with rolling it too, it stays very closed!I like the simple design of the outside of the bags and the cover. Th e tags and clips are super cute too.

Great storage for homemade sourdough

I am learning how to make sourdough. Because there are no preservatives added in homemade, I wanted a way to store the bread to keep it fresh. I was a little surprised at how big these bags are but it makes sense that a large boule of bread needs to be placed inside and then folded shut. That way the bread can get in there easier. I like the idea is the natural beeswax inside the bag to keep the bread in a natural state away from plastic. The set also comes with a bowl cover. I’m not sure how much I’d use that as I like the kitchen towel method but it’s there if I need it. I don’t make enough bread to need the labels that come with it, but a nice touch for those who need them. The bags themselves are the stars here. They are great quality material. The design on the bag is just ok. I wish it was more minimalist without words but that’s a personal preference.

Love this thoughtful kit!

We are getting into the "make our own bread" phase of life. My Gramma used to wash her bread bags, produce bags, and reuse them as bags for her new loaves.But now we are in 2026 and have all kinds of conveniences, including better bread bags!!If I want to give loaves as a gift, I have the sweetest little heart clips and tags with twine to use. But we are bread folk, so these loaves won't make it out of the kitchen......The canvas bags, there are two, are well made! Nice clips to hold shut, and they are lined with beeswax for freshness.This kit also comes with a bowl cover for rising dough.This could be a nice gift for a bread maker enthusiast, a teacher, friend, it is a nice kit. Great stitching, well designed bags and thoughtful extras like the heart clips.
