When I first started making sourdough, I put them in Ziploc bags. My bread would only last for a day or two fresh so I bought these bags. Whether I freeze my bread or leave it on the counter, in the bags, they last for several days fresh! Even bought some for my mom. Not really sure how long they would last fresh, since we always eat all the bread fairly quickly! We really like these bags and they are easy to use and very cute.
I’ve been making a lot of bread at home recently and was told that beeswax was the way to store it to keep it fresh and for molding so quickly. I found these bread bags that are lined with beeswax and receive them today. You get two for the price of one they are very large and could hold up to probably three loaves of bread. It is easy to clean. All you have to do is turn it inside out and using cool water not hot. You just take a paper towel or a rag and wipe it down and then turn it back right side out to use. Put your bread in the bag and then roll the bag down pushing the air out at the same time down to where your bread is and then use the clips to secure it. These are well-made and quite heavy material, a lovely color of blue. Well-made and a good buy!!!

Sturdy bags. I was drawn to the printed cotton of bag itself. A bag can hold 2 small baguettes (or 1 cu into sections; a loaf of regular bread or round loaf of specialty bread. I've been storing bagged breads, sweet potatoes, and apples on a low shelf inside garage: winter temps keep as pace cool but dry.
