Really Nice!!!

As a busy mom who bakes sourdough every weekend for the family, I've tried lots of beeswax bread bags over the years, but this one's my absolute favorite for keeping my homemade sourdough fresh for the family. The cotton feels so thick and sturdy, not like those flimsy ones that fall apart quick. The beeswax coating is nice and thick too, which really helps seal in the moisture (for those who are new to beeswax bags - don’t worry the beeswax wont stick on your bread-its completely dry). Plus, this one has no pungent smell, which is quite common in some beeswax bags. I've used it five times now, and each time the bread stayed soft and tasty even after several days.Additionally, the bag is fully compostable, so I plan to compost it once it reaches the end of its life. Happy that id be leaving no negative environmental footprint like when using plastic bags.I didn't face any mold issue, and cleaning the bags is a breeze. I also love that the two bags come in slightly different shades of brown—they look so cute in my fridge! Perfect for a busy mom who bakes every weekend. Highly recommended!

Nice bags

These just arrived today so I can't speak to how well it keeps the bread fresh at this point. But thus far they are easy to clean and do have a good thickness to them. The bags close easily like dry bags you'd take to the river and the design does seem to keep air out well. The beeswax coating doesn't leave a waxy residue on your on your hands like some other reusable beeswax items do though there is the slightest scent to the inside of these bags which I believe may be the jojoba oil. I'm looking forward to seeing how well the keep the bread fresh and crispy!

Perfect for homemade bread

These bags are made of good quality heavy cotton coated with wax. They last a long time, with care. I am a bread baker, and fresh loaves without preservatives don’t stay fresh long. These bags do seem to provide an extra day or two, if used correctly. The size is good for my usual loaf, and they do work well. Cleaning is easy enough. I also like that they are compostable at the end of their useful life. I think they are a bit pricey, but I’d rather use these than plastic. They look nice and rustic on my counter as well.

Really nice and big. Difficulty opening and closing snap so we use a clip instead. We use bag to store our sourdough bread. Works better than plastic.It’s ok but clip should not be so difficult to open
