I wanted to switch from ziplock bags to something natural and hoped it will still keep my homemade bread somewhat fresh. I honestly didn’t expect this bag will keep it a lot more fresher! I absolutely love it!

These are a very nice and organic bread bag. The material is a natural, rustic feeling material and has a great deal of bread space inside. The beeswax coating is strongly adhered to the bag. The bags are thick and durable. That can clearly be re-used over and over again. They have lots of flexibility and shape.The little cover that goes aover the bowl is a good size and a much healthier option than plastic wrap or aluminum foil. It's a non-toxic cover that has just enough thickness to it to be a great storage material. It can breathe when necessary and keep out or even wick out excess moisture. Really fantastic properties of the beeswax infused material. Totally worth the asking price.
These beeswax bread bags have been a great way to store my homemade sourdough. They work well, keeping the bread fresh for days. The ease of cleaning is a big plus; a simple wipe-down is all it takes. For a two-pack, they offer good value for a reusable and eco-friendly alternative to plastic. They feel nice to the touch and are easy to shape around a loaf or use as a bowl cover. It’s a simple product that does what it’s supposed to.
I ordered this set of beeswax lined bread bags after I had previously bought another set of reusable bread storage bags with a lining that was some type of plastic/vinyl and had a lot of off-gassing when they first arrived. There was no such issue with these bags. The only smell is just a faint "grassy" smell that I'm sure sure if it is the wax lining or the cotton bags themselves, but it definitely feels safer and less intrusive.The bags are large enough to fit my homemade round loaves or a bunch of store-bought hoagie rolls. These bags are great for storing fresh bread at room temperature or in the freezer. The wax lining is very thick and feels sturdy. Instructions are very precise about keeping these away from heat - not hot-out-of-the-oven bread or washing in hot water. No problem. I've washed mine a couple of times already in cool water and hung to dry. To close the bag, roll it down close to your bread to remove as much air as possible and use the clasp to secure it in place. I've had rolls in the freezer for a week now, so it's a little too soon to say it completely prevents freezer burn, but it is doing a good job so far and is much more durable than the plastic bags the rolls came in.A round cover is included and, though it seemed small as I looked at it, it did fit just fine on my standard round banneton. The round cover is not wax lined like the bags, but as I saw another reviewer say, that probably is to allow the dough to "breathe." It is a nice bonus piece for the set and useful if you bake your own breads. If you aren't a baker, I think this could also be handy to keep a bread basket covered before dinner, etc.
