They keep things fresh and dry. They are like 50mil thick.
These bags are great. I use them for camping and backpacking. You bring food in them. And take leftovers home in them. They keep stuff absolutely dry in an ice bath in a cooler. If you done get all the air out they can take up some room depending on which size your using. Going with lunch meat for the day....keeps it dry and fresh. Fruits you just throw in the bag. Grapes are our favorite hike snack. Water and you get to chew something while your hiking. I used them for a 10 day cross country camping trip and I had no worries. Make sure its closed all the way like a zipper bag then slide the closures piece over the top.

I like that these bags help cut down on plastic waste. I've been using them to carry my lunches and they have been working well.Pros:Reusable, BPA-free, and made from food-grade silicone.No odor when opened, and they do not retain food odors after washing.Microwave, dishwasher (I put mine on the top rack and I wash the slides by hand), and freezer safe.They have see-through windows.The side loop helps support the bag when putting the slide on or taking it off.No leaking, the slides help keep the bag tops securely closed.The stay-open top makes it easy to use. The largest bag does fold over a bit when empty.They can be rolled or folded for storage.Reasonably priced at $10 for four bags.Con:The end tab on the largest slide popped off. It doesn't negatively affect the function, until all the tabs fall off, I'll be concerned that they could drop into the food.

Nice quality and they stand up!
I haven't yet washed these, but they seem to be good quality. They come with separate bars to keeps the bags sealed; however, the bags do seal on their own without the plastic bars. That said, I probably wouldn't put any liquids in there without the plastic bars for the extra seal. There are 4 to a set - two small and two extra small. If you're familiar with the well-known brand of silicone bags - Stasher - these are thinner, but I appreciate the fact that when you open then, they are flat-bottomed and will stand up on their own to make it easy to fill. I feel like they're better than Stasher in that aspect. I'm watching what I eat so I like the extra small size for cut-up veggies and small snacks. There was no smell that I could tell when I opened the package so that's a plus. They are dishwasher-safe, but I am not sure about the separate plastic bars. I'd probably hand wash those, but that's not a deal-breaker. They came in 4 different jewel-toned colors so it's a plus that they're also pretty. I also like the fact that they can replace Ziploc plastic bags making them more environmentally friendly. Overall, I'm pleased with them and we will see how they hold up over time.
