So how would you feel about this? You cleaned the bags, poured some cold soup stock into the bags, and then liquid was dripping down from your kitchen counter. Then after some effort to verify what the problem was. Out of 8 bags, 3 leaks from the bottom. I took a chance buying this product regardless the negative reviews. Here I am writing one. This company should be ashamed of themselves.
These types of reusable bags should be a staple in every household. You can literally use them for SO MANY THINGS. I often buy meat in larger quantities and then separate into smaller portions and store in this bags. I am then able to "file" them away in my freezer meat drawer and pull one out as needed.I can also use these for sandwiches for lunch, or to freeze store leftover pizza or other food items that can be taken out and reheated on a different day. It limits frostbite on your food which NEVER happens using regular plastic bags of foil. You can easily disinfect these and sit them out to dry before storing again for another use.One of the best things about this particular brand is that the bottom of the bags open out to give you a base, meaning you can actually put more because it has room to expand.You can also use these to organize closets, travel stuff, toiletries, crayons, legos, etc. The uses are ENDLESS and the fact that you're helping the environment by not purchasing more plastic bags that just end up in landfills is the best part.****As a product tester for Amazon, I take pride in offering honest and dependable reviews of products so that anyone thinking about purchasing this product gets a fair assessment of functionality and quality. I use these for art supplies, and they perform as advertised. The zip could be a bit smoother, but happy with them otherwise.
These bags are so nice! I love using them to cut back on the excessive waste of plastic bags that most homes create. The material is nice and thick and is very durable (so you wont have the contents poking a hole in them). The closure is easy to use and seals as you would want. I did not experience any leaks when testing with liquids. The bags have a little bit of a bottom for things to stand up if needed, which i do like. These are easy to clean and don’t seem to take on unwanted scents of foods. I like that this set comes with 2 sizes so you can have a variety available when you need to find the perfect size. Overall, this is a great product and I would recommend to others.
These bags are thick and sturdy. I love that the bottom can expand, which gives them a lot more capacity. The bags are good size to store common kitchen items. The closure is easy to close and open and also leak proof. They wash easily and dry quickly. It'd avoid putting anything that might stain the bags as it should shorten its usage.
I am a big fan of reusable Ziplock’s and have lots of them. These reusable Ziplock’s save lots of money and are easy to clean and reuse. I do wish they were dishwasher safe, but I just close them with water and detergent inside and shake and that gets them clean easy enough (also proving they are leak-proof). They stand up well when full which is a really nice feature!Comparing to other reusable Ziplock's I have tried: These bags are a bit stiffer, which is probably due to the thickness of the plastic, as this product boasts being extra thick. These bags are a bit harder to close than some other designs I have tried. These bags are large and hold more than most of similar sizes due to their wide bottoms.
