Easy product to use
This was a great purchase. It is so easy to use and absolutely a great product so far. I have frozen several items and the seal appears to hold, even though the longest time so far is about a month. I like the suction cap on the sealing bags as it makes it very easy to use and removes the air in the bag completely. I have on occasion turned on the suction twice if there is very much liquid in the bag as this helps remove the liquid and it appears that I get a better seal. I also like the wine cap sealer as well as the mason jar sealing adapter. Both work well. The key will be to see if the bags remain sealed after 6 months to a year. And lastly, I have not tried to reuse a bag (and may not) so I can’t address that. Bags are cheap so I don’t know that I will try it just to keep the food germ free.

Thick bags that seal well.
Wow! This is a lot of bags. The bags are thick and can be reused. There are different size bags that came in this order. They work perfectly with my handheld vacuum sealer. They are a little to zip closed before you sealer but it came with a little plastic piece to help with zipping them shut. I will probably reorder again if I ever use all these up.

**UPDATE: Ok, as long as you seal the ziplock part of the bag REALLY REALLY carefully, it actually works beautifully. TIP: To seal the zip all the way I had to lay it on a flat hard surface and press the back of a butter knife along it and press hard.** The jar sealing is great. The bag sealing SUCKS! Air seeps back in pretty much immediately. Overall not worth the money. I don't recommend.

What I like the most about this type of sealer is I can open take out what I need and reseal it quickly. To me it seals as quickly as a countertop model I used years ago. The bags actually have it printed on not to reuse ones used for meat. Not sure if that’s standard but thought I’d point it out. The only reason I bought this brand/kit is because it included the mason jar attachment, but I have yet to use it.

Weak Bags that get holes after 3-4 use
The vacuum sealer works okay, but the bags are disappointing. I used them to store things like coffee beans, pumpkin seeds and similar things. When I vacuumed the bags 3-4 times after taking some stuff from inside, they got ripped. This might be due to pumpkin seeds being solid material but I had the similar issues when I had to wash some of the bags after storing meat in them and two of them did not work again. They don’t seal anymore a short time.
