Good one-piece martini glasses, just not great

I have really been liking this brand lately, but these martini glasses fall just a little short of the bar. There is nothing wrong with them, but they just aren't fabulous. They are nice smooth plastic, with no rough edges, and a barely noticeable seam. They come individually wrapped in bubble wrap, just like this brand's other plastic glasses. These are all one piece -- nothing to put together or fall apart, so that's a plus. But they just feel...light. They are head and shoulders above another brand's martini glasses I received a week or so ago. These are reasonably thick, sturdy, and pretty stiff (the other ones were way too flexible). I can't really put my finger on it, but for what you get, the price is too high. Comparing these to their champagne flutes at the same price for the same quantity, these just don't measure up.

large capacity, elegant design, and well made

It’s a little top heavy once it’s filled but surprisingly still sturdy. I don’t like putting my hand on the part that has the drink in it if I don’t have to to avoid melting the drink faster, but it’s the only way I feel comfortable holding this cup because if I hold it by the stem, it’s way easier to spill it. It’s not too much of a compromise. The plastic material is thick and durable. I have a kid so plastic over glass is always better. I like how it displays the colors and layers of the drinks. But thin rim makes it easy to add garnishes. Besides adult drinks, these are very elegant way to serve dessert as well. The design basically mimics an elevated bowl. I also like how I don’t have to fuss with larger chunks of ice being able to fit in the cup. It’s a very good size and capacity. I’d recommend them.
