This storage container is just the right size to hold rice and not be too heavy for my mom to lift. The handle might be better on the side instead of the side because my mom is short so holding it from the top makes it a little difficult but not impossible. The top has 4 clasps on all 4 sides and snaps into place but not sure how well sealed it actually is. It does stay on top even if you lift it by the handle on top.I like how this has a built-in spout to make pouring out the rice or whatever you put it in easy. It's also nice that it has a measuring cup that's exactly 1 cup (not 8oz.) for rice. You can also lock it over the spout with a slight turn and stays in place so you won't lose it.Overall, a really good container and easy way to pour and measure the perfect amount of rice, and I would highly recommend this product.
