This pan was perfect for our 20lb. Turkey . It turned out golden brown and moist. I trust you will love this product ,. Not only for thanksgiving, but roast chicken,. Ham,.etc. So glad we purchased this this pan and so will you. Happy Holidays.
Needed to replace a long time family item
we have used this pan twice so far and it is easy clean up and is perfect for a family of 22.I would dont be afraid to spend the money on this roasting pan.
This is a great roasting pan for the price we paid. It was on sale. But works very well for cooking tenderloins. Good purchase.
I ordered 2 because I was making two turkeys for Thanksgiving. Side by side they fit perfectly on the same rack in my standard sized oven. One thing I disagree with is that you can cook a 20 pound bird. I made 13/14 pound turkeys, and they just fit perfectly. The listing discrepancy didn't matter for me b/c i knew going in what I was getting, but I hope others see this incase they are intending to cook a large bird. I kept the racks in the bottom of the pans, and yes they slide, but once you put the bird in, they are good. I actually appreciated that they were smaller because it left more room for my roasted veggies at the bottom of the pan. The racks do not have much elevation to them, so if you roast w a lot of liquid, the meat will sit in liquid and won't brown the same. This may or may not matter to you, but I thought it was worth mentioning. That said, I cooked my turkey breast side down for the first half of cooking time, then flipped. I got decent browning on most of the bird, and didn't get much "sogginess" on the skin.
Internal rack is too small for pan. Slides around.
Despite the pan and rack being well packaged, it arrived with a size-able chip on the outer rim of the pan. I would have returned it however there was no time for the process. Regardless, it did the job it was intended for.
