This is amazing! So simple, so functional! Oaks on either wide mouth or narrow (regular) mason jars, rechargeable, and stores easily! Easy to reseal a jar of rice or coffee without pulling out something big! Exactly what I wanted! The last one I ordered was only compatible with special lids of their own, and I sent it back. This one uses any typical canning lids!
This vacuum sealer is my new friend. I have an outdoor and indoor garden and can all year round. This vacuum sealer saves me time and money. I really like its ease of use and it seals about 99% of the time when I pay attention to what I am doing, otherwise it is almost always user error. LOL Seriously though it is a sturdy little appliance that does a big job and helps me save a lot of money. Follow directions and it is super easy to operate. It actually paid for itself on the first batch of pickles and tomatoes. My food stays fresh for months and taste like it is straight off the vine.
This system works as stated, but it is a pain to have to use the tool to reopen then reseal every time you use the contents. We put fruit in it that we use every day for snacks, smoothies and such and got tired of having to go through the process each time. Also, it wasn't user-friendly to our 8 and 10 year old grandchildren to get to the fruit either. Too late to send it back, so I'll probably Goodwill it.
I do buy some items in bulk and then there are foods I do not but are more than what I would consume at one time. So this vacuum sealer is a good buy. It has been quite durable and has worked well every time I’ve used it. Easy to use, just place on the jar and wait for it to do its magic. The seal stays in place until you pop the lid. Best part, no batteries, it’s rechargeable! Excellent buy.
I use this vacuum sealer to get a tight seal on my mason jars, noticeably extending the freshness of food inside. It’s perfect for anything that I would typically store in a mason jar, such as leftover dip, salsa, coffee beans, dry grains, etc. I’ve tested it on jars up to 1L, and it performs excellently. Operation is simple: just add the lid, place the sealer on top, press the power button, and wait, it’s just that easy to use. It is quick and effective, the seal is strong and secure, comparable to the tight seal I get when boiling water canning. The cordless design lets me use it anywhere. I haven’t canned anything in recent years and I love being able to repurpose my collection of canning jars to store food efficiently and keep it fresh longer. It came with plenty of starter lids that fit my standard Ball/Bernardin jars.
I have had to reseal my jars several times. Works best on wide mouth jars.
