Quality item. Great value with fast shipping.
As a person with Celiac Disease, I love the "safer" tools available for us now. This rolling pin works well, can be cooled in the fridge or freezer, for rolling out certain items, like pie crusts, cookies, etc., that are more workable when the dough is colder. Is not pourous–trapping foods, germs (or invisible proteins) in it like wood. No microplastics. It's lightweight, and the size if perfectly comfortable. If my non Gluten Free/non Celiac spouse grabs it to roll something out, it's simple enough to fully wash and not worry about cross contaminating your food.
if I could rate it 0 stars I would. This is sincerely the .worst. rolling pin I've ever seen, I'm not even sure how it could actually be considered a rolling pin. It lasted a single use and broke after trying to roll out the third dough of the batch I was making. Yes, its only $10, which is very cheap, but it should still work for at least its advertised purpose beyond a single time! Its far too lightweight (its completely hollow), and its held together by glue on the ends that let loose almost immediately. In addition the support that runs from handle to handle is flexible and bends with even the slightest amount of pressure. Save yourself the time and energy, buy something better.UPDATE: I've raised it to 3 stars because the seller refunded me and was very cool.
One of my older rolling pins, a silicone one, had a sticky film I couldn’t get off. I always cleaned it after each use but after some research I discovered that silicone can break down over time. I wanted to try a metal rolling pin and I found this one easy to use, to clean and the dough didn’t stick as much as a regular wooden one does. It came with a small dent on it but it didn’t cause a problem rolling out pie dough.
Amazing! Super light, easy to clean, easy to use and love the look. Very inexpensive!
