I used these to make herbal sitz baths for postpardum, and the worked amazing! They were very well made, and I will definitely be using again when I have my next baby.If you are having a small cup of tea, the size might be a little large, but it was the perfect size to add different herbs into! I have only gone through a small portions of them, so they are definitely worth the money!
These are easy to use and hold up!My only complaint would be the loose thread ends on the inside..and this is a complaint if I'm being picky. They in no way make the process of using the tea bags difficult. Some herbs/leaves may get stuck in the loose ends that are a bit longer but it's not a huge hassle to pull the bits out under running water or to cut the loose ends off completely.I had to throw a couple away, not due to the integrity of the bags, but due to my own forgetfulness in not cleaning them out after I'm done especially when I used fruit bits for teas.To clean, I will dump the contents and wash with a small drop of soap with the bag inside out. Then, I flip it inside-right to use another drop of soap to scrub and wring by hand. When all the soap is gone, I wring out the bag as much as I can and lay it on a paper towel in a dry place where it can get ventilation. After about 1-2 hours, I will flip the bag over so it can. Dry on the other side.I'm very pleased with the durability and ease of use for these bags! Thankfully it came with a ton of bags, so I don't see the need to buy more soon, but will likely be buying some for friends who enjoy tea as well.
Foul odor and tear easily. Washing a few resulted in useless and sticky fabric. Thankfully my project isn't too hindered by these issues. Just be warned.
I wanted an alternative for my packaging that is a cost effective approach that looks great when I resell estate jewelry and sell my artisan / handcrafted jewelry.
