This is the best cheese knife we've ever owned. It stays sharp and it's great for other things like tomatoes and fruit. It slices through cheese very easily because of the large cut outs. It's an excellant marriage of form and function. It also makes a great gift and emulated the high quality of the Rosle brand.
Solid well made knife. Great balance with a substantial handle that provides good grip and definitely sharp. One complaint the label attached to the handle is very hard to remove and leaves a sticky residue requiring much work to completely eliminate.
Works really well. I ordered this one because of the reviews on line. It works really well, and I like it a lot. I'm not giving 5 stars only because it's not "a joy" to hold and see. Some kitchen tools are the ultimate because of how they feel and how they work. This one is pretty good, but it's not "ravingly great" -
I know you can spend a lot of money on a cheese knife, if you want to. I consider this one to be very reasonably priced. It works great! And, at my house, it gets used a lot. I do a lot of entertaining. So, if you're in the market for cheese knife, but you don't want to spend over $100, I highly recommend this.
Well made and strong
I've used other Rosle kitchen tools so my expectations were high for this cheese knife. Unfortunately, it doesn't do that much better of a job than a good knife does.
This is more than a cheese knife. It slices veggies, even potatoes, without them sticking to the knife, bread, tomatoes...I use it nearly every day. Other brands are over $70 and in kitchen stores the Rosle is over $40. I got this one on amazon for $27.
