Spatula that will last a lifetime. Rosle quality control is not perfect.

I have many Rosle utensils including the unperforated version of this spatula. I purchased the perforated version hoping it would be more flexible. It is not. Both tools are quite stiff.Some reviews comment on the quality of Rosle products made globally. The perforated turner I purchased in Dec 2025 is marked as made in Germany. It has a noticeably inferior surface finish than my older utensils. The satin finish along the handle is more coarse and the rounded sides of the handle are less smooth. There are perceptible burrs on the end of the handle. It's as if the final polishing step was omitted or abbreviated. I am not returning the item, but will spend a few minutes with fine sandpaper to fix it.

I own this Rosle perforated stainless steel spatula and it works great with cast iron. I like to make lentil pizza crusts and this is the only spatula that cleanly removes the crust from the cast iron pan. This particular purchase was for my son as he graduates this spring and I want to set him up with useful kitchen tools and cookware.

I have other stuff from Rösle so I already knew I liked their style and quality.I had another stainless spatula where the handle somehow came loose from the blade and that annoyed me no end. So I just went with this one where it is all one nice smooth piece.I did end up fixing the other spatula so now I have two stainless ones in the drawer by the stove.Picture shows it in a vintage Griswold cast iron skillet ready for use. Paella for dinner.
