Excellent fine strainer
This works great! I use it for quinoa, rice, lentils, etc. easy to clean and I love how it sits on the edges of the sink so I can let stuff drain. It is well-made too.

Excellent quality. Very sturdy and easy to clean.
I wanted a very fine mesh strainer to mainly use for straining yogurt. I have other Rosle products, and like the other products I have this one is beautifully made and top notch quality. This is a good size for my needs...not too large, but big enough to pour the milk through into another pan. It will sit stably on top of a 2 or 3 quart pan, which is what I wanted. I can pour liquids through it without having to hold the handle.
Great quality. I’d buy this again.
German manufacturers like Rösle built their reputations on tools that outlast their owners, and this conical strainer upholds that tradition. The 18/10 stainless steel construction feels appropriately substantial, with fine perforations that strain effectively without clogging. The conical shape works better than flat-bottomed strainers for sauces and stocks, allowing liquids to flow naturally toward the tip. The wide rim rests securely on most pots and bowls, and the handle provides good leverage when pressing solids.Beyond its intended use for sauces, it handles pasta water, blanched vegetables, and similar tasks competently. The 1.6-quart capacity suits most home cooking needs without being unwieldy. At its price point—roughly sixty dollars—it’s a considered purchase. But Rösle’s lifetime warranty and track record suggest it’s genuinely built to last decades, making the cost reasonable over time for serious cooks who value reliable tools.
This is a pretty large strainer. Well Constructed. It says stainless steel for most of it but didn't say what screen material was, I'm assuming some type of plated wire? It was deeper than the pan I had it in or otherwise I would have hung it on the edge. Overall I really liked it!Note: It was a bit hard to clean with a dish brush. I finally used a small juicer cleaning brush (looks like a flat tooth brush but wider) and that did the trick.
Giving this 4 stars only because it's pricey. Yes, it is made well and has the highly desirable fine mesh. It has the sort of weight to it that sets it apart from any inferior product that you may have owned in the past in this category. It maintains its balance well while you are pouring liquids through it. It cleans easily and is dishwasher safe. The handle size is well planned, neither excessive nor insufficient.
