a great item which is difficult to find
I had bought one of these a couple of years ago and was delighted to find it on Amazon to purchase a second one for my busy kitchen. I use it primarily to beat an egg or two or mix up a small amount of salad dressing. It is much more efficient and less messy than a traditional whisk and is great for mixing items (usually in a small bowl or glass measuring cup) which must then be added to dry ingredients. Use it by plunging mostly up and down and a bit around. For me it is indispensable and when I show it to other cooks they often want one too, so it makes a great gift item. It is very easy to rinse off and use again during meal preparation and dishwashes beautifully to be stored away.

My most helpful kitchen tool
I already had a whisk like this, and my daughter-in-law requested one for Christmas. I ordered this one for her and put it in her Christmas stocking. Of all the tools in my kitchen, this must be my favorite! It is useful for so many things, from stirring sauces and gravies, to mixing salad dressings and whisking eggs! I find it very easy to clean as long as I don’t allow food to sit and dry on it; I wash it right away.This is so useful, in fact, that I plan to get more to give as wedding gifts by tying one into the bow on top of the present

Lasted 1 1/4 years
This was a nice whisk. However, today was the 2nd time the coil got stuck on itself while hand washing it. The first time it took me 30 minutes with needle nose pliers to untangle it. This time, the coil ended up too bent to salvage and I had to throw it out. Not happy about that at this price.
