This is an impressive little kitchen tool. I grated with a hand grater and said, "there has to be an easier way". This is it!Works very nicely and is quicker and easier to clean too. I'm impressed. This seller has an attractive price compared to others who charge more for similar looking grater. You will like using it! Would buy again ,it's so good....
AMAZING!! I don’t know why I didn’t get one of these sooner. I have only shredded cheese with it but it worked great no complaints. Easy to clean. I love that it sticks to the counter.
I bought a similarly advertised one of these last year but it NEVER suctioned to the countertop and the blade drums were very thin and easily bent. I was apprehensive to ever get another one because I only used the last one 2 times (unsuccessfully) before tossing it in the trash. I finally took a chance on this guy and boy oh boy am I glad I picked this one! The suction is amazing! The whole thing is 100X better than the last one and it WORKS great! From potatoes to cheese, this thing ROCKS and is easy to clean, I put all the parts in the dishwasher except the housing so far with no issues! I will probably end up putting the whole unit in the dishwasher before it's all said and done but I don't want the suction to ever stop working! lol SO GOOD SO GOOD! If you've had bad experiences with other brands GET THIS ONE! Your search has ended! WONDERFUL PRODUCT!!!!
Though it's not perfect, I really like this grater.Cons:Capacity: The chute is wide enough, but should be a bit deeper. That would make it easier when you're shredding/slicing larger volumes.Tolerances: The tolerances among the barrel/blade/pusher are not very close. Almost 1/8", just eyeballing it. When I shred cheese, potatoes, or lettuce, slivers of food are not shredded and left spinning around the blade. That's my major issue with it.Pros:Build quality: Grater seems strong enough for everyday use. Solid plastic and stainless steel. Blades are SHARP. I expect it to last a long time, but will update if it starts to fail.Practicality/Utility: This is the genius of this grater. So simple to assemble/disassemble. It has 3 pieces besides the pusher. It can be easily stored in any kitchen drawer. When you need it, you just pull it out and put it together. You're ready to shred in literally 15 seconds. I had one of those motorized "Salad Shooters" in the past and it was nothing but a PITA; to store, to set up, to operate, to clean, etc. This is a breeze in comparison.Cleaning: They claim it's all dishwasher safe. I hand clean the body because I'm concerned about putting the rubber base in the dishwasher, but it's not difficult to clean. Everything else goes in the machine.Bottom Line: Great value for the price. Saves a lot of work and time. If they just tighten up the tolerances and make the chute deeper, it would be a perfect tool.
Easy to use, easy to clean! I try to keep a minimal amount of kitchen "gadgets", but this one would make the cut. I use it on average 2x a week and I appreciate how well it works. So much better than buying the pre-shredded stuff.
Awesome easily locks to surface, easy to exchange blades, comes with a pusher and a brush for cleaning. I'm always grating block cheese so this has been a big improvement on my Box grater.Great price too!
This has changed the game for cheese grating! It is extremely easy to use, dishwasher safe and grates cheese faster and safer than the traditional grater. The base stays attached to counter and is a breeze to assemble after cleaning. This shredder works very well, so much so that I will not buy bagged grated cheese again.
