Nice Shredder/Grater
I just received the item and put it to use, to see how well it worked. I shredded a potato for hash browns. It did fine. I will probably use the coarse shredding blade, next time, though. Easy to use, easy to clean and it stuck nicely to my counter, which has a mild texture. The arrow shows which direction to place the pusher, so some users need to read the directions, instead of putting it in wrong and damaging it. There will be some un-grated food, since the pusher can't be pushed all of the way down, to keep it out of the blades. I'll write another review, when I've used it for different preparations.UpdateThe shredder still gets a five-star review, but there is one thing that's needed: Different sized grating blades. (They call them 'grinding' blades) These are the same as on a standard box grater. You only get the coarse grating blade and you need a medium and fine set, also. The coarse one grates potatoes a bit too 'thick' for hash browns, so they don't fry-up as nicely as they should. A medium shredding blade would also be a good thing. They only supply a fine and coarse set of blades and one in-between should be offered. I've used the fine and coarse for potatoes. The fine makes them just a bit too thin, but they still cook-up fairly decently. The coarse one basically makes shoestring potatoes, which don't make good hash browns. Obviously, I really like hash browns. Either way, I love to cook and this shredder is plenty versatile and gives you a number of choices, with a quick change of the blades. I recommend this product.

Great grater for large blocks of cheese. It is very sharp and powers through a lot of cheese in no time with very little stuck to the outer drum. Bonus is the ease of cleaning. It comes apart and Into the dishwasher in no time. I just wish I’d bought one a long time ago and saved a lot of grated knuckles.

I enjoy making fritters, and grating with the grater is a total pain. I got this, and LOVE it. I'm doing zucchini, onion, and potato all in about 2 minutes total. Seriously easy. Stores cutely also. Just a quick rinse and check for debris, and back in the cupboard. My hubs and I are crazy about this little device.

Fast Shredding a Plus
I like the idea of it, and being able to have a large bowl sitting underneath to catch the food.Getting through shredding in quick time.Negative feature, the suction isn’t that great, it kept coming unstuck.Made me wonder if other designs worked better.

When I first took it out of the box I thought it was going to be just another gadget that ended up in a garage sale but was I surprised. I bought this primarily for cheese and it worked beautifully. It locked firmly on the countertop as described. Clean up was easy. I did wash it by hand to keep the blades sharp. Handle with care because it is very sharp.

The item I received was odd in the regards to the way it was packed. When I was taking the item out I couldn’t help but to think that it was an “open box” item that was sold not as new. It was not inside a shipping box when delivered but I’ve experienced that form of shipping on other items I’ve purchased. The parts, however, were just randomly placed in the box. Nevertheless I decided to keep it as it was all there and not damaged. Upon my first use I wanted to refer to something indicating which blade to use for a particular item. Again, no reference and not even a picture on the box itself. At that point I wanted to contact the vendor but realized there was no contact information at all. No customer service number or website. I checked different ways to contact the vendor but there is nothing. That all being said, it worked ok, nothing special about this shredder. My Parmesan cheese was totally unsuccessful in using it. If you want it shaved or julienne style your fine but not for shredding.
