I absolutely love this. I bought this rotating cake stand for a cake I made for our christmas get together. My other one was heavy glass with a heavy glass dome, and was afraid it would get dropped and broken. It worked like a charm. I highly recommend this to anyone. Diffinately worth the money.

The rotating Cake stand was easy to assemble and took about 5 minutes. The screwdriver was needed for assembly and was actually included with the stand. The cover of the stand is plastic and looks a little flimsy. It had a hairline fracture line in it on the inside upon arrival. The fracture is under the knob and not visible from outside. However, it reflects the quality of the product. The wood plate would not rotate if positioned on the smooth surface like granite. It did rotate after I put a paper towel underneath. The stand is functional and will accommodate a variety of products at the party. The seal between the cover and the plate is adequate to prevent foods from drying. Size is also excellent. In overall, I think it is overpriced.
