Gorgeous and well made!

I am so happy I got these. I have a wood table and I LOVE the look of these woven wicker placemats with the wood. I was delighted to see how well made these are. They are THICK! Before I've just used cheaper thin ones, which seem to hold stains and they don't wash well at all. Most of the time when I wash and dry them, they deform and I can never get them flat again. So I'm done with those cheap thin ones. When I saw these I had to try them. I'm so glad I did!They are really sturdy. They completely hold their shape. I think they will be very easy to clean. I can likely just hand wash/spot wash them, but I think they'd even do well in the washer and dryer on tumble dry. Because of the color, I don't think they'll show dirt right away anyway. The color is a pretty neutral brown that will go with any color of wood.I am so thrilled with these. I got them free through the Amazon Vine program, but I would 100% purchase these. It's amazing for the price that they come in a set of 8! I am using 4 for my table, and I have 4 more to use throughout the house to put under plants, on tables, etc. I love the look of them so much I plan to buy another set. Five stars!

Decent dupe of expensive seagrass placemats

These placemats are good, but not great. They are stitched well but some of them have long pieces of extra material stitched down. I was able to remove a few extra pieces, but others are trickier to free from the stitching. I like the slight color variations on the placemats & they sit very level on the table. If you want a cheaper version of the more expensive seagrass placemats, these are a decent dupe. Just don’t expect them to be perfect. My style is very casual so they will work fine for me.

Poorly constructed

I was really hoping these would be great, but they're just cheap. I DO NOT like the fact that you can see all of the stitching that holds these together. It makes them look like they're covered in netting or something. Also, the placemats are coiled poorly so that there are gaps in some of the rows (see pics). The ends also have a very rough finish which look poorly trimmed and stitched. I know they will just pull apart or snag fairly easily once in use.I would not recommend these to anyone looking for quality placemats.
