I ordered a smaller package of these since I haven't had a lot of luck with the larger towels. I was very happy with them. They machine stitch up very nicely. I ordered the 24 pack of them & have already stitched up half of them for Christmas gifts. They are nice for hand stitching too. They are a bit thinner than Aunt Marthas, but I like that, they are softer & dry dishes very well. As soon as these are stitched up, I will order more.

I'm sorry for the experiences of the unhappy reviewers. And based on their reviews, I really debated about buying these.But they were exactly as I had hoped. Whew. They were not lopsided, all were a nice right angle squares. They are thin cotton, but that's what I was looking for. They will wrinkle, as does all 100% cotton (light spritz with water, a quick shake, and wrinkles come right out). Lint free. And the black and white plaid is very attractive in my kitchen.I liked them so much I went back and bought another set!

Great for drying, but misshapen cut

I would echo some of the other comments that this towel dries REALLY well. No spots on glasses or pots and pan. For drying alone I would give it a 5. But for quality of towel I found the whole batch to not be square. They could not be folded evenly. I give them a 1 for this reason. In addition, may be fine for hand embroidery but much too thin and fragile for machine embroidery. Given a 3 for crafting. Overall, great towel if you are using it for drying only or covering your sourdough or breads, but not for crafting or those who care how the towel look folded.
