Beautiful - but don't put in dishwasher!'
These plates are beautiful! Before use I'd advise one to wash them by hand, dry them immediately and treat them with a good food safe finish of your choice. Follow the care instructions in the description! Never put them in the dishwasher because it's too aggressive during washing and the intense heat during drying can crack them. Yes, I goofed and tried it. Luckily I repaired the cracked one with wood glue. That said, these plates are so boho-chic and down-to-earth sophisticated I will commit to washing them by hand!

Very sturdy and good size
I just received these. I haven’t used them yet so can’t review the ease of washing them or long term durability. But they are much better than I expected for the price. They are thick and sturdy with no visible flaws. They were very well packaged in a box that can be used to store them if necessary. The size is slightly smaller than the dinner plates I use every day, but large enough to hold a main dish and side dishes. The picture I’m attaching shows a steak knife for a size reference. I’m pleased with them.

Not a "finished" product
Not a finished product. I had to sand every plate by hand to get rid of the rough parts. Also, several plates came with some scarring. It also seems that they came unsealed. I had to seal them with tung tree oil myself.The only thing that made these worth it was the price point for how many. It isn't easy to find a reasonable price on wood plates.

FUN STUFF!
I use these as charger plates (plate holders) for 10-inch paper plates when camping. Adds a little fun to mealtime. Some reviewers have complained about breakage... hold WITH the grain, not against. In other words, look at the grain, draw an imaginary line parallel to it, and hold on the sides along that line. cream cheese!

Misleading about size
Had to give these only 1 star because they are not as described. See in the screenshot where these say they are 13" round? Well when they came they were 10" round. Since I wanted to use these as a plate charger and not an actual plate, they would not work with a 10 inch standard dinner plate. Therefore back they wanted to. It was very frustrating because it's inconvenient to have to return things all the time. I'm starting to think that these dimensions are supposed to be for the box size. Which is really pointless for me. I would like to know what the item sizes and there's no thing that was clear about that. Even in the selection process, it says .98 what does that mean? I assumed that meant the lip was about an inch tall. Anyway, just be aware if you're buying this maybe you're better at figuring these things out than I am. But to me, this was very misleading.

Nice looking plates.
These are very sturdy appearing plates. Don't know how they will hold up with use but they seem quite durable. Was looking for something other than disposable paper or plastic for large family gatherings, cookouts, etc.
