Holder without split wood.
This is the second banana holder I ordered. The first one had a split by the hole where the metal hook/holder was screwed into the wood. I ordered a second one after canceling the first one. The second one has a base with non-skid feet on it and appeared to come from a different manufacturer. Of coursed both were made in China. It did not have any splits. I did bore out the holes slightly where the screws that held the vertical piece to the base because the screws were to tight in the pre-drilled holes and I did not want anything to split. Overall, this appears to be a good product. If it does happen to break, I will be able to salvage the hardware and make new wooden pieces in my workshop. Amazon was great to do business with. When I sent them a complaint, they did not require the first one to be returned.

Nothing Fancy but works
I didn't expect super quality but this is not junk either. It truthfully is light weight and when you get it you screw it together, put it on the counter and hang the bananas. It is simple but functional and works just fine.I like it.

Screws aren’t that well aligned
Just to note, this product comes shipped as two pieces and you have to assemble it yourself. It’s not that difficult to do and comes with the tools, but I noticed while I was trying to assemble it that the screws holes in the base didn’t line up well with the holes in the hanger portion very well. I had to raise the hanger slightly above the base and ended up making a crack in the wood while doing this. It was honestly too much of a hastle for me to return it and it honestly looks and works just fine despite of it. Just know that if the holes don’t align with your product, what may happen. The base of the product is sturdy and I have no worries that the stand may tip over if I put a hand of bananas on it.

The hanger is great!Easy to assemble, good looking. I have no complaints, nor negative observations to make about it.I rated it a 5 stars on its durability; however, I only have it for a month. I presume I Shaw keep it away from excessive moist (it is wood, you know) and avoid dropping it. Is it delicate? It doesn’t look like, but I won’t put it through the test.I’m loving it, it keeps my bananas up there!!LOL

Works as intended
My only dislike is that very large bananas touch the bottom while hanging. Not a big deal though, as it doesn't happen with most bananas.

Baby Bananas Only
Would work well for baby bananas. The reason you buy this product is to prevent pressure marks on your product. Although it's very sturdy from hook to base is too short for large bananas.
