I love me some humor - when I ordered this I did not realize what was embossed on the top: "take your top off". This is a high quality item with a strong magnet. I initially was concerned that it would not stay in place when popping the top off, but it does! We have a motorhome with a basement fridge. I stuck this magnet bottle opener on the frame above the fridge, and it is perfect! Well made with a very strong magnet. Very functional, and priced right - what's not to like? I recommend this!

Strong magnetic (and witty) bottle opener

No more hunting for a bottle opener. I love this magnetic opener because I didn’t have to bust out the drill to secure it to a a wall. The two magnets on the back are strong and hold firm as long as you keep pressure on the opener as you use it. Which typically you’d be applying pressure regardless. It’s pretty cool and matches any decor. I didn’t realize what it said on the top until a few uses later. (Take your top off). It’s funny and a nice little accessory to my fridge and my kitchen. Would make a great gift, especially for a bachelor or man cave.

Ultra-strong magnets really grab onto the refrigerator door

I originally thought that the the magnetic aspect of this wall-mounted bottle opener was simply for catching the cap after it pops off. That feature is cool in its own right. Magnets not strong enough

Unfortunately this item is a bit cheaper feeling than I was anticipating. I will be able to make it work in a different way by removing the back plate and screwing it into the wall instead, but the long and short of it is that the magnets are not strong enough to hold the opener in place while opening a bottle. The opener itself does feel sturdy and it will work perfectly once I've installed in with screws, but I'll have to find a different use for the magnet part of it

The metal feels heavy and durable. Fun bottle opener. Strong magnets with an included tool to remove the bottle opener from backing if necessary. Tried it on a thin piece of metal and when I went to open a bottle, the opener came off. However, the directions are pretty clear that it needs a thick piece of metal, so when I put it in a different spot on some thick metal, the magnets held perfectly. No issues. I like the esthetics of the opener and the magnet catch for the caps seems to work just fine so far.
