We love these trays. We don't use them for food but for decoration. The bottoms are not smooth so setting a glass or something similar might not be steady. Food does well on them though and the grooves helps the food not stick. They are very lightweight but I'm not sure how much washing they could handle. The stain is a medium brown and looks very nice. The wood feels soft to the touch and they are easy to carry. It's not something we would be comfortable using in bed but ok on a side table or something with a flat surface. We recommend these for display or storage over food use.

Low quality even for the price

Wood is very lightweight. You have to attach the handles yourself and the holes aren't pre drilled. I was worried about them damaging my furniture so I put some felt on the bottom.
