Bought this for my husband and I use it as much as he does. I haven’t tried to see how long the ice cream stays cold as I’m usually digging in after an hour or so, but it definitely keeps it frozen for that long. In fact, if u get to the bottom of the pint, you have to take it out of the chiller if u like it at all melty.

I was honestly skeptical, but I bought this for my Dad who loves ice cream. I put mango gelato in the container, we drove 30 minutes for his birthday party and he opened it an hour and half later! The gelato hadn’t melted at all! I don’t know if he will take it on the boat, but it was a nice novelty idea for someone who enjoys ice cream.
