Great for camping and outdoor cooking
I got these since I do a lot of camping and outdoor cooking and have had issues with salt caking up here in the humid south. These have snap on lids with snap on covers. I put salt in one of the containers and inverted it in straight water for 6 hours. This is by far a worse case situation. The salt did cake up after 6 hours which indicated some moisture got through, but I would still rate this as a 5 star owing to the fact this was soaking in water for a long period of time. I will probably still put some rice in the salt container, but so far, very pleased with the performance. Also included are labels for different spices in addition to "S" and "P" for salt and pepper. The bottles are translucent so if you are using them for salt and pepper, the labels aren't needed.

Vintage style salt and pepper shakers
These salt and pepper shakers are simple, sturdy, and hold a generous amount. They’re made of clear plastic, which makes it easy to see the contents, and the black and white lids seal tightly so there’s no worry about spills. The plastic is not thick but also not flimsy, giving them a lightweight feel while still feeling durable. For reference, one 1.75 oz can of pepper filled the shaker a little over halfway.One thing to note is the size of the shaker holes. They’re fairly large, so seasoning comes out quickly and in generous amounts. This works well for grilling and backyard BBQs, but you’ll want to use a lighter hand at the table if you’re not paying close attention.They come with a sheet of 13 different labels so you can easily label and use for spices other than s&p too.Overall, they’re really cute and remind me of vintage Tupperware-style salt and pepper shakers.
