After much searching, I settled on this salt box. It arrived as pictured and is good quality. I really like the fact that it has a spoon incorporated into the top so you can scoop the salt out rather than put your fingers in the salt. It is attractive sitting on our kitchen counter as well.

Kosher salt must have

I’m an avid home cook and always use kosher salt. I like to use exact measurements especially when baking and a salt shaker or grinder is not optimal. I prefer natural materials and the aesthetic of bamboo. This salt box was priced much lower than others and I’m not sure why because it’s perfect and exactly what I was looking for . It holds a large quantity of salt , has a 360 degree swivel top opening with a perfect little hidden spoon inside. Great new addition to my kitchen gadgets !!

Stunning and useful!

I was sooo excited for this to come and it did not disappoint! It’s sooo pretty and the swivel of the lid and hidden compartment for the spoon is so satisfying and useful! I will say the way the lid does remove scared me at first because I thought I broke it but once I realized I just became more careful with it. Mine does have a small crack in the wood where the lid connects but it has not affected the product or its use. Other than that it’s beautiful and I use it to store my Celtic salt.
