Great Salt Bowl!
I’ve been looking for a salt bowl like this to use when making dinner or sweets. It helps immensely not having to twist, shake or push a button for salt with time wasted, then just having to scoop it up for the larger amounts of salt needed as the recipe calls for it, then mixing. Only peeve about this is the wording and design looks bit faded.

Charming and a great convenience for the countertop
While our new home is undergoing serious renovations, I have begun collecting pieces I want to move in with. I selected this salt cellar to keep on my island countertop for cooking. I’m a pretty serious cook and honestly find that having loose salt, (especially with this cute spoon) to be a great shortcut when I’m cooking. The deep navy blue will go nicely with my cabinetry, and the feel of the stoneware pottery is pretty classic and on point for our design style. I like the attention to detail in that the lid has the cut-away so that the spoon has a place to stick out. Overall, I think this is a great piece to have, and I’m considering a repeat by for the pepper version.

I thought this salt bowl look fabulous. The bowl came in an off white with a wonderful glaze. The ceramic was well done and the lid fitted perfectly. It holds a maximum of 10oz which is a lot. The item also comes with a small spoon. The odd thing is that the spoon is too large to fit inside the bowl. I had to place it on the bowl's side. I have absolutely no idea why they would do this since it is kind of inconvenient. I also got the matching sugar bowl. I am kind of obsessive compulsive so I had to get the set. I am very happy with the bowl except for the spoon.

I have been looking for something just like this to go with a similar sugar bowl I ordered earlier this year. I didn't want them to match exactly so this is perfect. I love the color and the raised pattern is cute. The only thing that could improve it would be for it to be a tighter fitting lid to help keep moisture out of the salt.The whole thing seems well made. Price is a little higher than it should be.

Exactly what the picture shows!
This looks as cute at home as it does in the picture. The opening for me on this salt cellar is a little small as I cannot grab a pinch with my fingers but no biggie as I will use this as a sugar bowl despite it saying salt on one side. This will definately fit the decor of my kitchen. Very happy with this but feel the price is slightly higher than it should be.
